A popular local event. Shop for fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, flowers, and other treats while enjoying live music. Dinner is available from numerous food vendors, and there are activities for the kids. Take Palm Blvd (703) to Sullivan's Island, follow 703 across the drawbridge into Mt. Pleasant. The market is on the left, there is parking on the right. Can't miss it.
County Park
The only beach on the island that provides lifeguards, changing rooms, etc. A small entrance fee.
Loaves & Fishes program
The First United Methodist Church collects unopened nonperishable food items on Saturday mornings between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The food is sorted and delivered to East Cooper Community Outreach.

Summertime Music Series

Let's dance! Enjoy warm summer nights dancing on the beautiful Charleston Harbor at the South Carolina Aquarium. Learn new dance techniques every fourth Thursday in June, July and August during the Aquarium's Summertime Music Series. Local turtle team volunteers, Bill Connellee, Mary Ellen Rogers and Mary Pringle will teach you about the life cycle of the loggerhead, take an inventory of a nesting site and show you how you can help protect this amazing animal.

Charles Pinckney National Historic Site
1254 Long Point Road, Snee Farm,Mount Pleasant. 28-acre historic site is a remnant of Pinckney's 715-acre plantation, historically known as Snee Farm. Interpretive exhibits relate history of Pinckney, an early statesman who contributed to U.S. Constitution.
